VST passive thermal house
THE BEST HOME CONCEPT SINCE PEOPLE HAVE HAD A ROOF OVER THEIR HEAD!
For us, the future has already begun.
This development is based on a combination of the "Thermal house - the house with the green lung" from Schrade and Partners (Maybach Strasse 50, D 70469 Stuttgart) and VST technology compatible with passive houses.
For us, the future has already begun.
While others were simply talking about various possibilities of building houses in future, we acted through consistent, future-oriented development.
Our thermal homes now meet all requirements in terms of energy costs, variable floor plans, facilities, environmental friendliness, sustainability, healthy living and quality of life.
We are already building them!
Described here are some salient features which prove that we fully meet the demands which can and should be placed on the construction industry today.
The idea of a thermal house arose in 1976 after the first oil crisis. Since then, the idea has been advanced consistently in all areas and implemented in practice.
Particular account has been taken of ever-increasing energy, construction and land prices. Many property developers' desire for "natural" materials and "plenty of greenery" is also met.
Problems related to energy, biological construction and finances are solved.
Science has done its part here, many calculations, statistical research, infrared analyses, to mention just a few measures, being needed to develop and build the thermal residential home. Possessing multiple corners to facilitate economical development, the house has a central atrium (bio-cell) which allows additional sunlight into the living area. Furnished with vegetation, the bio-cell (also called "green lung") simultaneously serves for oxygen-rich ventilation and reduced heat loss. For residents, this means an "inward" focus which eliminates noise and environmental pollution besides warding off bad weather.
The design only incorporates building materials which meet biological building requirements while accounting for the economic aspects of construction.
Serving as a basis for the floor plans prepared by us, this newly developed residential concept is the logical consequence of the description provided above. Our team centres their
planning concept around the bio-cell in accordance with your individual wishes.
YOUR HOME'S GREEN "LUNG"
As a central design element, the bio-cell (indoor atrium spanning multiple storeys) is oriented inwards to protect the living area against noise and poor weather; furthermore, the bio-cell lets in natural light and is furnished with vegetation which not only visually embellishes the rooms but also supplies them with additional oxygen.
Vegetation
Special vegetation as well as natural and artificial lighting also create a soothing atmosphere in the connected rooms.
Photosynthesis
In nature, plants perform a biochemical function whereby light-absorbing pigments (chlorophyll) are used to convert light energy into chemical energy. In the process, carbon dioxide and water are transformed into the high-energy organic compound glucose and oxygen. Termed photosynthesis and taking place in the presence of solar energy, this is the most important biochemical process on earth. By forming organic materials, photosynthesis directly or indirectly drives nearly all existent ecosystems by supplying other living creatures with plenty of nutrients and energy.
A similar process takes place on a small scale in the bio-cell, leading to an improvement in air quality within the living areas without unnecessary heat losses attributable to external ventilation, thus saving heating energy. Furthermore, the surrounding rooms receive natural light depending on the time of day, thus lowering the costs of electricity. Indirect, artificial and controllable growth lighting installed in the ceiling mirror creates a homely atmosphere in conjunction with the respective lighting adaptation.
Luxury
This central element also creates an air of luxury and transparency which substantially raises the quality of living. There are no dark areas, and the bio-cell is very invigorating especially for children.
Because the atrium is bounded by a glass element via the roof, the surrounding rooms receive daylight, and the electrically openable roof windows (with rain and wind guards) serve for brief, targeted, controlled, total ventilation as required.
The all-round glass elements are furnished at the top and bottom with a closable ventilation element, thereby enabling a permanent transfer of air. In winter, heated and dusty air under the ceiling is routed by the forced ventilation into the bio-cell, where the existent vegetation and humidity rids the air of dust, conditions and humidifies it, and returns it as fresh air through the lower air vents to the heating cycle.
Summer, winter
In summer, the process described above slightly cools the indoor air and rids it of dust, thereby significantly improving air quality.
In summer and winter, the process functions automatically according to physical laws. The transparency of the glass elements facing the atrium can be controlled by blinds, and sound-absorbent, forced-ventilation elements assures the sound insulation of the individual rooms.
Leisure
Water is supplied automatically via a moisture sensor in the plant trough, thereby largely eliminating the need for monitoring. Maintenance of the bio-cell is possible via the diagonal, French-window elements with olive-shaped locks (parental control), but hardly necessary.
The processes mentioned above notably mitigate dust allergies too, for instance.
